My internship at House of Prayer Edmonton was… well actually I’m not really sure how to put words to it. Maybe something like life-changing, inspiring, challenging and uplifting would help to describe it. But even that doesn’t quite do it. Why? Because it was all about pursuing and...

Who knew the Bible was so rich with mysteries! I have spent the last few weeks involved in the prayer room, fascinating discussions and in personal bible study. Spending three hours every morning in the prayer room was difficult some days when the colourful lights on the ceiling keep stealing my attention, but there are other days when the Holy Spirit is poured...

When did you begin working with House of Prayer Edmonton?

I first started as a volunteer in 2008.  Jim Hall had invited me to come to a little meeting.  HoPE was considering starting up a weekly format, doing every friday from 7-9.  There were about 15 people at the meeting.  I had gone to House of Prayer during the 24 hr prayer time a couple of times prior to the meeting.  I had considered it a worth-while thing to do but found myself too busy.
