The people of Israel had the unique role of being chosen to know God and represent Him to the nations of the earth (see Ex. 19:4-6). They were allowed to see the power and presence of the living God. The manifestation of God required that the people stay at a distance from God and the encounter struck fear into the Israelites.
A key part of God’s plan is to awaken a worldwide prayer and worship movement of believers who will long for and cry out for the return of their glorious bridegroom King,Christ Jesus and then Jesus will return in response to the prayer and worship!
