The theme of the evening, “Praying for God’s Glorious Church”, is an important topic that Sara has been writing a series of articles about recently. In these challenging times it is especially important for us to maintain and sharpen our focus on praying for the Body of Christ.

"Jesus is inviting us in this hour (as he has all through the ages) to join him in what he’s doing — building the Church. A primary way that we do that is through our intercession. Not only does Jesus' heart burn with bright vision for the Church but he is absolutely devoted to her, which includes every individual that makes up the Church, but also us corporately as his house. However, the reality is that often we see only the human side of the Church, with all its earthbound limitations, stains, and brokenness, but he sees more. He sees what he’s doing and how he’s building us together to be his holy temple, a dwelling place for God by the Spirit (Eph 2:22).”
